The “darlings of world music” return to the Edinburgh Festival.

An award-winning multimedia performance fusing documentary film and performance about the family of the legendary Hukwe Zawose who had 7 wives and more than forty children. The film tells a poignant story of the human spirit's triumph over adversity as the Zawose Family battle to keep their father Hukwe’s legacy alive.

Be enchanted by traditional Tanzanian harps, violins, thumb-pianos and drums combined with high-energy fire dances.
